Presidents Message for November

Roanoke Valley Trout Unlimited,

Our next regular meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 14, at Hollins University, Goodwin Room at 7:00 pm.  Wesley Hodges will be our guest speaker.  Wes is a fly fishing and bird hunting guide from Blacksburg, with a great story to tell.  Don’t miss this one!

Note that we have postponed our officer and board of director elections until January.  The slate of candidates is still being developed, so I would recommend you not miss this meeting, lest you risk having your name being put on the ballot!!

Also, note in the agenda the river cleanup at Explore Park next Saturday, November 17, from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.  They are serving lunch to volunteers, and are asking groups to sign up, so they can get a head count for lunch and materials.  If you are interested, please let me know so I can sign up our group.
